On the Kobe IV microsite users can watch video clips of behind the making of the Kobe IV. Kobe refers to a Black Mamba snake as a metaphor of his style of play on the court. To add a personal touch to Kobe's sneaker, a Black Mamba snake skin texture was added to the heel cup of the sneaker. The Black Mamba snake became my theme behind the design.
